These one-on-one sessions are designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your senses, and rediscover that inner calm.
Drawing on the ancient Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) and supported by decades of modern research, these sessions blend mindfulness, movement, and self-compassion to bring balance to both mind and body.
Each session in nature gently unfolds in four parts over 90 minutes:
• Arrival & Intention – We begin by meeting at a peaceful natural location and setting a simple intention for our time together. You’re invited to take a few mindful breaths and notice the atmosphere of the place — the sounds, the air, the feeling of the ground beneath your feet.
• Mindful Movement & Awareness – We take a slow walk through nature, pausing often to engage the senses and practise mindfulness-in-motion. You might feel the grass beneath your bare feet, breathe in the oxygen-rich air, or notice the play of light
• Reflection & Stillness – We find a quiet spot to sit, reflect, and explore a guided mindfulness practice tailored to your needs and goals. This may include a self-compassion meditation, gentle breathing, or journaling to capture any insights or emotions that arise.
• Integration & Closing – We finish by sharing reflections from the experience and exploring simple ways to weave mindfulness into everyday life — learning to meet thoughts and feelings with curiosity and kindness long after the walk ends.
No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.

Together, we’ll take a slow, guided walk through a peaceful natural setting, exploring grounding practices, sensory awareness, and mindful breathing to calm the mind and regulate the nervous system. Perfect for those new to mindfulness, feeling overwhelmed, or seeking a deeper connection with themselves.

Across three sessions, we explore your relationship with mindfulness and self-compassion, using nature as your teacher. You’ll learn tools to bring presence and emotional regulation into daily life, creating a sense of calm that lasts beyond the session.

Transport can be added where required and will be billed in line with NDIS travel guidelines.

Sessions take place in peaceful natural locations across Melbourne’s north-east — including Greensborough, Eltham, Viewbank, Plenty and Doncaster
Integration sessions are available in-clinic or online.
Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and a water bottle.
